We are so excited to offer this extraordinary PSG schoolmaster to our clients. River is a real showpiece in so many ways! He is not only a successful, seasoned, amateur friendly dressage horse- he is also trick trained, and participated in one of Europe’s most famous equestrian dinner shows- the Cavalluna where he was ridden with wings, no reins, and no bridle (Watch the video below of him with his trainer in Germany). After being imported from Germany several years ago, River was cherished and cared for by a sweet young girl right here in the US. The pair have shared nothing but success on the US circuit. Together they earned multiple high point awards, breed awards, USDF Breed awards, Junior Rider Awards and regional championship qualifications. With regret, she must offer him for sale to a loving home. We pledge to find him a partner who will love and care for him as she has.

River has competed to PSG level and is a perfect mount for a rider seeking to learn and move up the levels. He is uncomplicated in a snaffle or a double bridle and has exceptional behavior in new environments including the hustle and bustle of horse shows. His trot is as smooth as you can get, and he also has the natural ability for beautiful piaffe and passage. He is trick trained to piaffe and Spanish walk. He would also make an amazing western dressage partner.

River demands attention the minute he steps into a show ring or anywhere he goes. Be prepared to receive endless compliments over his jaw dropping presence. To say we are impressed by River would be understated. Despite all Rivers abilities and “buttons” his kind soul still allows him to be suitable for riders from junior, amateur to professional.

River has been exceptionally cared for and loved. He is twelve years old, standing at 15.3 hands, and is up to date on care. He is a true over achiever, smart, teachable, friendly, easy to handle, willing, and magnificent. He is a true gentleman for the farrier, vet, clipping, bathing, and loading. He is a kind soul willing to give you his whole heart. The sky is the limit for this special horse, and he is ready to join you on your equestrian journey.
